It is indeed possible to get the tf without donating.I've done it personaly for 3 days by having a donor to buy the gems for me , the price is different depending on the people you buy from...I think the questline is way funnier , because it's something different to do rather than ganking new players in dp or going in and out of bt for days

You don't have to donate for the Thunder Fury quest.
Simply just ask someone to donate or ask someone if they have

TF quest is ok but its rly only for DK,Pala and Hunt but its worth of that farming and i dont see any problem with it...if u want it u must make that q ..alot ppl have no problem to make it to end so why only coz of u they should make it free....can u imagine that every newbie that come here will use TF?.....get life man..that wep is enaught op for that low dps

I also think the first TF quest should be able to be completed by non vips, because if someone is going to donate they would probably donate for tf @@ anyway just so they dont have to do that huge quest chain. tf should be available to non vips

Read the whole thread before posting you're reply please.
The TF IS available for non-vips, heck most of the players that have a TF are non-vips, just get a donor to buy you the gems.

Meh, I think it should be obtainable without donating at all. It's already a de facto non-donor wep, why not just remove the MG cost and add like a 500-1k PC cost or something?

Because of Monika and the Temporary Vendor, if they had never been implented I could agree to what you are saying.

Still, even with them implemented, it should still be free. I mean, this is the one quest chain where you actually put some effort in, and in the end the people just get screwed over from their promise of a TF. Also, I think VIPs should have the option to upgrade their TF, for a small fee, and lots of effort.

In my oppinion no, cause it has never been free before and people did spend their money on it so it would be unfair, I for one bought 2 TF8@s for 220$ each and if you now could get em for a much lower price that would not be fine for me. Same goes for the TF1, however, we do have a legendary weapon not used yet, Shadowmourne, how about implenting a new questline which rewards you with that weapon?
The end of that questline could be completed by turning in 1000 IDOWs since IDOWs are still not as easy to obtain as MCs and PC.
Just my two cents though.
